Facts about the flu:

Tips to lower your chances of getting the flu:

  • Protect yourself with the vaccine each year.

  • Follow the steps for proper hand washing with soap and water.

  • Direct coughs and sneezes into a tissue or your elbow. Never use your hands.

  • Keep a respectful distance from individuals who are sick to minimize risk.

  • Regularly clean and wipe down common surfaces.
